The purpose of the Wiki.
The main purpose is to be the "blackboard". So, the wiki would be destination for a document, HOWTO,tutoria,article anything documentation related.
How to use it?
Like any other wiki you have visited. Put information there and other people will see it and probably edit the content. That will give the opportunity to build better document.
What next?
After the documentation is put on the wiki, several reviews would be made to approve the HOWTO's quality and correctness.
